Junk In The Trunk Inc is a Calgary based business dedicated to the principle of "Reuse and Recycle" to keep as much as we can out of the landfill. We offer a bricks and mortar Thrift Store, an online Thrift Store, downsizing and cleanout of homes and estates, including cleaning out hoarder home as well as a junk removal service. As we obtain some of our items from our charities, we do not accept donations.

We make every attempt to repair, donate, sell or reuse items. If it can't be saved we recycle through partnerships with textile, metal and electronic recyclers.

We support small local charities through some of our sales. We only choose charities that are primarily volunteer based.  We support other charities with donations of eyewear, personal items and clothing.

Junk in the Trunk came out at a difficult time. My mom was a major hoarder and we needed to get the home ready for sale. The task was overwhelming. They cleaned out the home and removed every bit of clutter. They even returned photographs and personal items months later they had found. I could not have done this without them.  A Nomus

We just had them help with items from my brothers suite. They are very understanding as he had passed away on June 26. Margaret and Ken and helper are very courteous, kind and efficient.
